Are you a band, a DJ, or a producer? Want to hear your work on the radio and help BrisFest? Then compose and perform a radio ad for us.
In association with local media, BrisFest are putting out the call to all local bands, DJ’s, artists and producers to create a 30 second radio advert.
The winning ad will be used as the official BrisFest radio ad and will feature on local radio as well as on the brand new BrisFest website. The winner will also receive a pair of VIP tickets for this year’s festival. You can be a group of drummers, indie rockers or a bedroom producer: all are welcome to enter the competition and get involved with this year’s festival. Reach out to hundreds of thousands of people across the airwaves and through cyberspace, and help us get the word out by creating a mini masterpiece, perhaps even launching a profitable career in jingles!
Submission details:
- All adverts must contain: date, location and prices of BrisFest 2010: 24th – 26th September, at Lloyd’s Amphitheatre in the city centre from £5 a day in advance from www.brisfest.co.uk
- Track must be exactly 30 seconds in length (41.1 KHZ, 16 bitrate). Formats accepted include MP3, Aiif and Wav files.
- Deadline is 20th August 2010.
- Tracks can be sent to us by uploading them to soundcloud, button below, or see http://soundcloud.com/groups/brisfest/dropbox
The winner will be notified via e-mail and jingle will be uploaded onto the BrisFest 2010 web-site on the 25th August.

Hi Amy
Thank you so very much for your feedback! I really appreciate it. I do have to say that we had excellent “audiences/sleuths” on both nights helping to solve the mystery – so thank you for your participation. Best wishes.
I’ve recently started a blog, the information you provide on this site has helped me tremendously. Thank you for all of your time & work.
