That’s right, the great big pirate ship, sponsored by Sailor Jerrys!

The Matthew will leave from inside the festival site as the ship pulls up next to the main stage, and are priced at £10 per trip with very limited capacity so get in quick:

12:00 - Acoustic music by local singer songwriter Ryan Inglis and a special set by Queen Bee!

13:30 – Beautiful songs by Katey Brooks and The fantastic Funk From The Truck DJ Ewan Hoozami.

15:00 - Acoustic set by Jimmy Goodrich, who has previously supported Amy Winehouse, as well as Rufus and Martha Wainwright, followed by the sounds of Davey T and Tapey on the mobile disco rig.

Sunday 25th September

18:00 – SUNSET CRUISE with the Sound of Sirens and Slam Butler.

The entire site opens with a bang … expect crazy walkabouts, fire displays, huge scale projections, light shows, interactive arts and a whole host of music to celebrate the new festival. There will be 7 stages; two main outdoor stages, two large music tents also featuring stand up comedy and cabaret after hours,  the RFID Dome which boasts 360degree visuals and the finest electronic music, the beer garden stage with folk, acoustic and poetry, and the performance area with unexpected spectacles all evening long!

Wolf’s stage

Friday see’s BrisFest kick off with a bang as we look to the stars of the future on our main stage programmed by the legendary Mr Wolf’s! Come straight from work as we warm up with DJ’s from 6pm.

18:30 Ouija Birds – Dark acid rock collides with The Kinks and Portishead!

19:30 Gecko – With national radio play and support from the likes of Radio 1′s Mike Davies, The King Blues and punk poet Attila the Stockbroker, Gecko look set to take the world by storm with their punk rock pop.

20:30 The Anomalies – wooing fans on the festival circuit with their unique blend of breakbeat hip hop.

21:45 Laid Blak – 100% heavyweight urban reggae, Laid Blak have been amassing huge support, recently smashing it at St Paul’s Carnival and worldwide.

23:00 Interactive Games… get silly with us as we play twister, and other crazy activities from local artists.

Brought to you by the kings of the street scene, these pen-wielding heavyweights launch us into a weekend of top quality sounds (in full Funktion One) and live painting.

23:00 – CatchPhraze live! Play along to our remake of this game-show classic!

19:45 The Hotel Ambush – with killer riffs, hardcore beats, and aggressive yet melodic vocals this is one of the most confident and determined bands on the scene.

20:30 Massai – crossing barriers between metal and rave, whilst incorporating Swing, Skank and Hip Hop.

21:20 Honour Your Pain – brutal, relentless, passionate.

We then turn the tent around to become BrisFest’s very own comedy club….

21:40 Subslags – a group of young, talented individuals with a passion for bass music. The group consists of DJ’s, MC’s, Producers and Promoters.

22:30 Circus and cabaret show – A fantabulous concoction of cabaret delights with fire, burlesque, hooptease, comedy dance and acrobatics from Miss Laura Mai, Le Pants, Delilah di Sgrace, Meghan Pike and more…

21:15 Cue FanFare - combining a shared love of taut melody, and a heady mix of woven chiming guitars with a pop sensibility.

22:00 Acoustic jam around the fire.

RFID Dome

Festival favourite; the magnificent dance music dome with 360 degree sound and visuals

18:00 Special guests.

19:00 DJ Phat Rave – Original Reading rudeboy inna da place. Free party veteran DJ Schmang with a timeless set of jungle techno from way before back in the day.

20:00 Ricorb – making sense of the world that surrounds him by smothering it in bass and 909 claps. With his Halloween Bass set he’s usually found on the outskirts of Dubstep/Speed Garage/PsyDM/NuGrave-NickCavecore.

21:00 Nam Shub of Enki- member of MONSTER ZOKU ONSOMB and a long respected producer, performer and DJ in the Australian underground electronic music scene.

22:30 –Silent Rave, pick up your headphones from the hire desk and have a boogie with the brilliantly fun Adam Asbo (ASBO Disco) until midnight.

Street Theatre and Walkabouts


There will be a variety of interesting walkabout characters around the festival to entertain and delight. As you enjoy wandering around the festival or relaxing on the lawn, they will be sure to bring a smile to your face. Friday’s acts will include Ross Hedley with his amazing mind reading!

Site Art

The entire festival site will once again be transformed into one of the world’s largest street art galleries, displaying work by internationally renowned artists such as Inkie, Cheba, Andy Council, Feek, Ponk and Sepr, with displays of the best work especially created at BrisFest over the past three years. Plus there will be new work and live painting during the festival weekend by the following artists, so you can see the site transformed in front of your very eyes;

Raves on The Waves Boat Parties

On board the Tower Belle, departing from outside the spy Glass near Bristol Bridge, please arrive 15minutes early to board.

Rave on Avon Underground

The secret’s out! Our never before used venue, a whole 2 stories underground is a converted car park right next to the festival site! Huge props to At-Bristol and local authorities in letting us create this incredible immersive environment for two nights only. Come explore!

Room 1: Extra special secret guests on the legendary Dirt Soundsystem. Expect the unexpected.

Room 2: Drawn Recordings and Fata Morgana bring you an interactive digital vortex of visuals and art to the sounds of Kanji Kinetic, Milktray, Startslow and more. Interspersed with specially mashed treats from Swede Mason of buttery biscuit bass fame!

Room 3: The Bank Vault. Unwind in style with a magical adventure of cabaret and music. Free gift for anyone wearing gold… beware you don’t get locked in though!
